1996 BENTLEY BROOKLANDS
Just arrived in stock is this absolutely magnificent Bentley Brooklands. A Very late production car registered in April 1996. Finished in Sherwood Green Mica with a Parchment Leather Piped Spruce. We took the car in Part exchange against a low mileage Flying Spur we recently acquired.
The customer had purchased the vehicle in 2016 from renowned Rolls Royce and Bentley specialists Hanwells Of London. It has been exceptionally well maintained with a full Main Dealer and Specialist service history. A service only last year amounted to £3500 and fixed a few issues including the rear suspension and driveshaft assembly, front wipers. The vehicle has only completed 600 miles since. In addition to this the head gaskets were also changed prior to his purchase as they can be known to be a common issue on the later engined vehicles.
All the original factory build sheets are present confirming the factory specification as well as the original sales brochure, with keys and all the original service/ handbooks.
It sports factory correct AVON Turbospeed tyres and after travelling 365 miles in it yesterday I can confirm it drives without fault and everything electrically and mechanically performs exactly as it should. There is a complete tool kit with not a single item missing. All the optional Lambswool overmats are also present and are free of any rips/ tears or damage.
1980’s/ 90’s Rolls Royce and Bentley are known for being extremely susceptible to rust particularly in the arches front and rear and the door tops below the window rubbers. This vehicle has four completely solid arches with no filler present and there is no present corrosion in the door tops either . There are a couple of extremely minor alloy reactions in the paint around 2 of the door handles and a couple of imperfections in the paint below the surface which I have tried to capture in photographs but are so minor you will struggle to see them - I am merely pointing these out so to describe the car properly.
The interior is wonderful, there is not a single crack/ split to any of the veneers, the leather is simply as new, no splits or cracks to the seats either . All the switchgear works as it should and there are no warning lamps displayed .
