For sale in our forthcoming auction in Paris, on 27 october 2019
British title
Frame n°234608
Founded in 1897, Bianchi is one of the oldest Italian manufacturers. Known for its achievements in racing competitions, Bianchi has also marketed road models including this 175 Tonale. Its lovely 4-stroke single-cylinder develops 8 hp at 6, 000 rpm and consumes just 3L / 100km. Bianchi stopped producing motorcycles at the end of the 1960s. This bike is in a nice red colour and displays an enjoyable patina thanks to an old restoration carried out in England. The odometer displays 1, 235 miles. A great opportunity to ride a pretty bike typical of Italian production.
We are very proud to present this very moving collection. All the motorcycles reflect a man's passion for different brands and generations of two-wheelers. The ones that made him dream as a child in the 1940s and 1950s, as well as those he enjoyed riding, such as the BMWs and Guzzis. The original condition and low mileage of most of the motorcycles of the collection will certainly catch the attention of demanding collectors.
We inform buyers that the entire collection consists of motorcycles that were, for the most part, left unused for years in a private museum. They are therefore sold as they are and are to be restored and/ or recommissioned.
We advise all potential buyers to check the file of each motorcycle to obtain all information regarding the registration process in their countries.
Auction estimate: €3 000 / 5 000 - Without reserve price
