Up for Sale is my 1983 Citroen Gsa Cottage.
I'm losing the storage/ workshop I currently have. This means I will have to reduce my current collection of 14 down to 5 cars.
This is one of the cars I need to find a loving home for.
Some History,
This is a rare version of the Gsa. Production was limited to 1, 850 vehicles.
The body is in metallic varnished Sloughi beige trimmed with a discreet double line (orange and brown). It is fitted with light alloy wheels, equipped for radio, seats in a special fawn colored Scotch cloth and a completely carpeted trunk.
Originally from Montpellier France.
Exported in 1997 to the Netherlands.
It then lived lived in Den Haag until its owners took it with them when they moved to Portugal.
I bought the car in May in Santiago do Cacem and drove it back to the Uk.
The car is now on Uk plates and I use it as often as I can.
Things I have done since purchase.
I have fitted 4 new matching tyres.
Changed the oil and filters.
Replaced the o/ s track rod
Fitted a replacement carburetor
The seats were removed and the stitching was repaired by a trimmer.
All the interior has been cleaned and wet vaced.
The outside has been machine polished and protected with bilt hamber anti rust auto balm.
The underside and engine bay were steam cleaned.
The car has been rolling road tuned and made 61. 5bhp
Unfortunately there are plenty more things to do.
I had made a list and was working my way through it but I won't have the time now.

Drivers window is wonky when opening
Gearbox has a crunch into 2nd
The boot lid and bonnet are rusty and ideally need replacing (I have a bonnet. Available by negotiation)
There are two patches on the sills that personally I would like to redo
There is rust/ filler in the rear right corner of the roof that needs looking at.
Various other less major areas of rust on the bodywork.
The roof and bonnet both have paint lacquer peel from the Portuguese sun (I quite liked this. You may not.)
The speedo is showing 276, 357 kms so 172, 723 miles
Mot is until the 12th of may
The car has plenty of normal wear and tear etc. I've tried to list everything. I may have missed something but I've tried to be open and honest about the car.
Some people have asked about delivery.
I am happy to drive the car to you if required.
Fuel, return travel costs and the car would need to be paid for upfront in this instance.
