We have one of our beautiful restored 2cvs coming back to us to be sold. Unfortunately her owners circumstances have changed and Camille needs to find a new home so we are hoping to find the right home for her.
We restored Camille back in May 2023 to a very high standard. She had many new parts fitted (I have listed some below) and was resprayed in a beautiful combination of Blue Celeste and Jaune Rialto in a Dolly style. She is sat on a galvanised chassis and is fully undersealed and wax oiled.
During Camille’s restoration we welded up her body shell and replaced the windscreen surround, floors and sills, fitted a new bonnet, boot lid, all new wings. Her body shell was then shot blasted (as we do with all body shells) then prepped, primed and painted. I have included some images of her during her restoration (photos of interior to follow).
During her chassis build we fitted a lot of new parts including a reconditioned engine (part number 1012100 on our shop). Here is a list of just some of the parts fitted to Camille: All new brakes, Front wheel bearings, king pins, suspension arm bearings all round, shock absorbers, track rods, Starter motor, reconditioned engine, carburettor repair kit, electronic ignition, fuel pump, clutch, alternator, brake pipes, STAINLESS STEEL exhaust and fittings, all new interior including rear parcel shelf, battery, engine bay fittings, hood, wooden steering wheel, locking chrome fuel cap, all new door locks and spindles, new switches, bumpers, LED bulbs, USB port, rear lights, indicators, rear boot rack, Trims, hub caps and the list goes on.
Since her restoration in 2023 she has only covered a handful of miles and has been sat in dry storage. Before she goes to her new home we will do the following work on her:
