I purchased this Pearl grey, Automatic Mercedes 190E 1. 8 in March this year from Charles Ironside, classic Mercedes dealer.
I have been detailing Charles’s cars for over ten years .
I purchased the 190E with a view to keep it long term , as cars in this condition do not come up very often, having cleaned a lot of classic Mercedes , and a lot of 190’s especially, this one is of collectors quality, I took off all boot side panels, jacking point covers, battery removed to inspect, under rear seat, the car is as clean on the underside, and must be one of the best 190’s available. It has electric tilt/ slide sunroof, front centre armrest, metallic paint code 122, it’s original plastic wheel trims all unmarked.
It was supplied by Bargate Motors on the 01/ 08/ 1990, still carries its rear window sticker, and has only ever been to Bargate , now Mercedes of Boston, but still at the same address.
It was purchased by the only registered keeper as the family car, then after 18months , another car was purchased, and it then spent most of its life going for mots, with very little use.
It still wears its original tyres, and the exhaust as rear section is still one piece with centre box.
It has seven service stamps in the service book, old tax discs and mot certificates , all Mercedes invoices , 4 keys including the valet key that sits in back pouch of leather wallet. even the running in booklet that would have hung on steering column on collection.
All paperwork and other pamphlets associated with the vehicle.
It is still registered in the trade, as I had no intentions on using the Mercedes, it was for a long term investment, so it still shows no former keeper.
I will put a new mot on the Mercedes for the new owner.
I have over a hundred photos of all areas of the car , and can email these to serious interested buyers.

My business situation is changing next year and I am having to find different premises after 21 years, and this is the only reason for me putting the 190 up for sale.
