This car is not a work-in-progress but rather ready to drive and enjoy kind of classic. I have owned this beauty for 5 years and done lots of restoration work on it, I would say it is 99% there. I have thoroughly enjoyed it at the weekends, more than my modern BMW 6 series (which is also very lovely). This SL turns way more heads.

New brake pipes, new soft top, suspension renewed in 2021, new discs and pads done all round, new tyres all round. Just had a full service done. New improved vanity visor mirrors.
The car is ready to drive. Wheels could do with a refurbishment, slight curbing on them from previous owner, other than that everything works as it should. Great example of 1992 300SL, one of the most reliable engines Mercedes produced.

Interior is in very good condition. No rips or tears in the beautiful deep red leather. I purchased this SL in 2020 after searching for years. Fell in love with the two-tone white and grey colour. It reminded me of a Ferrari Testarossa.
When I purchased it, it required extensive restoration work. I worked on the car over the years, tidying up the nigly little issues. Having had drivers bolster professionally repaired. Body paint corrected by a professional bodyshop.
