1957 Austin A35 Van AV5 Chassis Number , Absolutely beautiful having been superbly restored . Supporting photographs supplied showing the the van as a shell . Photographs also show the superb underside of this van . It has some tasteful upgrades such as reclining seats , Fully boarded out load space , Flashing indicators , Alternator conversion , Wire Wheels , Disc brakes to the front axle , Smiths period heater and the later full mid body chrome strip . I am told the 948 cc engine has just had a rebuild and is still running in . It starts easily and the motor runs very well with no smoke or over heating noted . The gearbox is smooth in operation and the brakes are excellent . It is a charming period commercial which would be lovely to show or drive around in . Ideal for a business promotions .
