Reliant Scimitar SE5 GTE race car
300 hp Ric Wood 3 litre V6 engine, triple Weber's, dyno sheet available, Wasp alternator and starter motor, MSD ignition, BMW ali radiator, ali bellhousing with hydraulic concentric slave cylinder, T5 gearbox with quick shift, Salisbury LSD with altered ramp angles. Suspension locating points altered poly bushes and rose joints, adjustable coil over dampers. Floor mounted pedal box with remote brake bias adjuster. Custom made front stub axles and ali hubs carry Sierra Cosworth drilled and grooved discs, Wildwood calipers and choice of poly matrix pads. Rear brakes are Rover 800 discs and calipers. Custom made large foam filled fuel tank, Holley pump braided fuel lines. Lightened body plexiglas windows, heated screen, digi dash, Vbox system. This is a very well developed and ultra reliable car with predictable handling thanks to 55/ 45 weight distribution. Raced with Classic Sports Car Club Swinging Sixties series last year taking 3 class wins and four second in class, and second overall at Thruxton. Ready to race with spares. No V5C so not road legal.
