The E30 platform is the second generation of the BMW 3 series, which began development in July 1976 under chief designer Claus Luthe with exterior styling led by Boyke Boyer.
The E30 went into production in November 1982 for just over a decade before the E36 replaced it.
This motorcar in particular has been in single family ownership since new, it shows a pleasant cabin space with a mark free dash and centre console. The in car amenities have been tested and work well such as the fm/ am radio, heater, rear heated screen and electric wing mirrors.
The cloth seats in good condition for the age, as is the headlining which is still tightly fixed.
In regards to motoring we have recently had the car put through an MOT, as it had been in dry storage since 2010, from our testing it is a effortless vehicle to drive, noting that it changes through the 3 speed automatic smoothly. The six cylinder engine idles and pulls well, making itself very comfortable in modern traffic.
Bodywork is in very good condition for the year of the vehicle.
