The bodywork on this 850 is finished in Glacier Blue. A very rare colour which really suits the 8 Series shape. On this car the paintwork is in excellent condition throughout. It has a deep all over shine, its free from any noticable dings or dents, a superb example.
Inside the interior is very light Silver / Grey. Again this is in excellent condition as is the headlining, door cards, deep pile carpets etc. It features a fully extended leather interior, such a lovely place to be.
The BMW alloys are all in excellent shape, all fitted with matching Continental tyres.
Engine / Gearbox
The 5. 0 V12 engine on this car sounds and performs perfectly. The performance is super smooth, it just keeps coming. Its such a well engineered car, you often don’t realise how fast you are travelling.
The auto gearbox suits this engine so well, the gear changes are hardly noticable they are so smooth.
History
This 850 benefits from an excellent service history. If you like your cars to come with all the paperwork, this 850 wont disappoint. We have all the original manuals, original fully stamped service book, a folder of old service receipts, old MOT’s, original BMW sales invoices and folders etc.
Summary
This 850 is a fantastic example. Most of the 850’s that come up for sale are either high miles or not really upto standard. This example stands out from the crowd, its clearly been cared for by owners who could keep this car maintained as it should.
This example has recently been owned by a very good customer of mine. Due to developing his storage for his business, this is the second of his excellent BMW’s to come to me for sale. Its a delight to drive, looks fantastic and I think represents excellent value for money.
Its just had a full Inspection II service. On top of the full service it had the auto gearbox oil changed / new front wishbones / Control arms / Front brakes etc
