The car boasts a very smooth-running A-series 1000cc engine and 4-speed synchromesh gearbox, and everything else works as it should. This of course is a very popular car even today and Morris Minor Travellers are fast increasing in value, partly because of their rising popularity with people of all ages, as well as the fact that there are less than 800 of these now registered with the DVLA. To find one in such good condition, especially with the ash woodwork so well preserved, makes this a very canny investment for the future. The rear seats can be folded down, and often were, for carrying luggage.
The wheel arches, as can be seen in the photos, are rock solid, with no signs of rust.
