First registered in 1987, this example of the Golf CL features the earlier model 'small bumpers' with a chrome trim. The early model features the older style quarter light windows and aside from being on slightly lowered suspension, all features of the vehicle are period and standard. This vehicle boasts the VW factory colour with no issues of rust. The bodywork is in fantastic condition.
The GL has 15" 'G60' steel wheels which are free from any scuffs or marks and all four tyres are matching. The wheels complete the look of the retro 80's hatchback beautifully.
The interior of the Volkswagen is in great condition. The interior seats, carpets and door cards are blue cloth and in excellent condition. There are no headlining issues and all interior components work exactly as they should including fully functioning AM/ FM stereo.
The Golf has been renouned over the years for reliability and solid German engineering. This stunning example is no exception! Having been cared for brilliantly, lots of parts have recently been replaced and has just passed MOT. All of our vehicles undergo our in-house full safety and mechanical inspection and this vehicle will 3 month warranty.
There are service receipts present with the vehicle as well as previous MOT certificates with the Golf verifying the low mileage. The vehicle will be sold having had a full service including spark plugs, filters and oil replacement. The original book pack and user manuals are present and it is HPI clear.
