BK5096 Portsmouth registration. Very rare English model 1916/ 18 Eveready Autoped In museum condition. Only 10 are known to exist This is thought to be one assembled in England for military use. Intended to be lowered from an airship by wire. These machines would travel at up to 30MPH Found in 1953/ 4 in the cellar of a bombed out house in Portsmouth. Taken to a scrapyard where it was rescued by the owners son who was on national service with my employer from whom I bought it in 1968. almost complete, original tyres and embossed footrests. Solid machine with no rust, the machine has always been stored indoors and is in the fine condition you would expect. It has not been cleaned up just for the picture. Located in Oxford, England
