First registered on 3rd July 1978, this lovely MGB GT, which looks particularly smart in its Pageant Blue coachwork, is still in its original specification, including the interior and Rostyle wheels. The car was restored a number of years ago, we think by Mere Classics, and an excellent job was carried out, with new sills, castle sections, wings (we think) etc. The underside of the car is pretty much perfect and is neatly undersealed. The panels all fit well and there is no nasty rot - there are, however, a few areas which need re-painting as the car has stood for several years in the previous owner's garage - it was always his intention to carry out some detailing to the car, but never got round to it. We now have the car running and driving well with good mechanics, including a strong engine and overdrive gearbox. It is obvious that the brakes were overhauled at some stage with new shoes in the rear. The Rostyle wheels were refurbished and new Firstone tyres were fitted all round. The interior of the car is excellent, with good seats, door cards, headlining and carpets, and good quality floormats in the front. The engine bay, which was also restored, is pretty much like new. The exhaust system is stainless steel. The car will come with new MOT, some old paperwork inlcuding old MOTs, and V5C. You won't find an MGB in better structural condition for anything like this price. Carry out the few little paint jobs and you will add £1500 to its value.

For customers wanting to sell their car, outright, or on commission, we will conduct all necessary initial negotiations over the telephone and then collect your car as quickly as possible and be on our way.
