1956 Sunbeam 90. Mk III.( the Talbot name was dropped for this model) 2. 2 litre engine. 4 speed column change gearbox.
In sound condition. A good engine which pulls well, with a good oil pressure.
The gear changes are as they should be, with no problems.
The body is sound, much past remedial work to cut out the usual rust spots.
The rear lower wings were replaced as were the wheel arches inside the rear doors.
The paint work is partly original and worn. No dents just a few scuffs to the finish, although generally tidy.
The seats are OK except the back base which has fragile leather. Carpets are scruffy.
Tyres are OK. Chassis/ steering sound. The chrome is poor on the hubcaps/ wheel trim.
A generally usable car which could be cosmetically improved.
Owned by me for 11 years and regularly maintained mostly by the local garage.
Now not used much now so selling.
