Description
I bought this lovely eye catching car in 2020 from a contact in the Sunbeam owners club. This is a 1960 car that was imported back from California in 1989. It's listed as 12 previous owners. During this time the car was converted to righthand drive. I have its maintenance history from 2014. I have completed the following in my ownership: Replaced water pump & radiator cap, brake shoes, cylinders. Rear wheel oil seals, plugs, condenser, distributor, battery, battery leads and starter cable, new exhaust, electric starter installed, 1960s reconditioned radio, head gaskets replaced and engine skimmed, tyre and white wall replacement. Engine is sound and starts and drives really well. Its never let me down. Always been dry stored over winter. This is a reluctant sale due to moving and down sizing. We've had many summers travelling around the countryside and attending car shows and rallies. This car stood out to me when I first saw it with the classic fins and sleek appearance. Comes with a soft top and hard top. It's a stunner and creates many conversations with people! Still some jobs to complete to improve it even further such as the vinyl seats and repainting the hard top. This is a great example of a 1960's Roots car that's become quite rare.
