Originally built 22 April 1963 as a Ivory White, with Black interior trim and Black hood, this 3000 MKIIA BJ7 model was restored by Al Futtaim Classic Cars (ERAS) of Dubai from 2015 to June 2017 and has covered 0 miles since completion. Prior to restoration, the car had been in single family ownership since 1966.
This car, UK registered AFW 612A was right hand drive converted by us in 2019 with new steering box and a retrimmed dash.
The restoration was comprehensive with the car stripped to a bare metal chassis, with the interior and engine outsourced to local premium specialists. All components were either restored or replaced, with more than 405 new parts including all new chrome, new suspension and braking systems plus additional upgrades of an aluminium fuel tank, an upgraded clutch kit and mohair hood.
The car was specified from new with options of: overdrive, heater, adjustable steering column, roadspeed tyres, laminated windscreen, MPH speedometer and is provided with MOT, Heritage certificate of authenticity, original bill of sale plus detailed restoration parts list and paperwork.
