The Gransport 4. 2L was launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 2004 and has the V8 engine of the previous version, but with an increase in power that allows this car of the trident to reach 400 hp.
Compared to the previous series, it presents aesthetic and mechanical changes: A wider, chromed and honeycomb front grille was adopted aesthetically, new rims that recall those of the cars involved in the "Trofeo Maserati" races, new tailpipes and some new shades.
Improvements were also made mechanically, in addition, the only gearbox available for this model was the Cambiocorsa (semi-automatic with paddle on the steering wheel) suitably lengthened by gear ratio, to make the most of the engine's qualities.
The maximum speed touched by Gransport is 290 km / h.
