We are delighted to offer this exceptional example of the Mercedes SLK 230 Kompressor, finished in the popular colour combination of 744 Brilliant Silver with black leather.
It has covered just 56000 miles from new.
This is one of the last R170 first generation SLK's. It has always been local to this area and has had just 2 owners from new. It was originally supplied by Mercedes Benz of Stockport in May 2003 and the first lady owner kept the car until 2007 with the next lady owner keeping it until earlier this year.
In total there are 16 service stamps in the book, all MB Stockport for its first four years, then local MB specialists and independents thereafter. We have had a pre sale service carried out at a local MB specialist and the MOT runs until April 2022 with no advisories.
This SLK retains all its original items such as wind deflector, overmats, both remote keys, first aid kit, toolkit, collapsible spare wheel, tyre inflator and jack. The original stereo is still fitted along with original number plates and rear window dealer sticker. Four matching Kumho tyres have been recently fitted as well.
The specification includes Air-Con, Cruise Control, Heated Seats, Electric Seat Adjustment, ABS/ ESP/ BAS, adjustable steering column, 5 speed automatic transmission, 16" alloys, front fog lights and of course the electro hydraulic folding hardtop.
To drive it is superb with plenty of power from its supercharged 193bhp 2. 3 engine, smooth gear changes, and a general positive feel on the road. All in all a very enjoyable modern classic.
Overall condition is excellent with a very tidy interior and exceptional bodywork; we have just replaced both front wings with genuine MB items.
