Beschreibung
Early MGBs are becoming quite rare and so are in high demand. This particular example represents excellent value. Finished in Grampian Grey, it has a new red interior, including leather seats - to the original specification. The bodywork is straight and sound and there is no rot. It has obviously undergone a body restoration, including sills etc and the underside is really, really good. The only thing not so good about this car is the paintwork - it really needs repainting, but from a few yards away, it looks fine. In repainted condition, we would be asking £12, 500 for this car. The mechanics are good, although there is a slight judder on the brakes (discs, we think). The car performs very well with very strong engine and nice gearbox with quick-acting overdrive. It is nice to have the original spoked steering wheel, and of course, wire wheels are the first choice for most people. A very good car, but it really does need painting to make it perfect. MOT to July 2021, V5C showing only three owners in total. Serious enquiries only, please.
If you are seriously interested in the car, please telephone (PLEASE don't email your questions). We can tell you more and answer any questions you have - it's so much quicker by phone, and to be honest, since lockdown, we have been inundated by email enquiries which take so long to answer.
