A lovely 1966 Italian built Lambretta LI150 Special ready to use and enjoy.

EXTERIOR
This 1966 Italian built Lambretta is the LI150 Special model that was deisgned to fill the gap between the LI Series III and the TV Series III models. In White Thorn and Rosso red, the paintwork presents well with age related markings and remedial cosmetic upkeep carried out as to be expected. This is a good looking and fun scooter but not a show winning item. All trim sections are fully intact and Lambretta and Special badges remain fitted. The Veglia Innocenti instrument cluster is still in place and the red leatherette seat is undamaged.
ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
The 2-stroke single cylinder air cooled engine is the 148cc developing 8. 25hp to achieve a top speed of 58mph! The engine kicks into life easily and the unmistakable sound and smell of a Lambretta brings the memories flooding back for any diehard Mod! The engine revs freely but lack of recent use means a service would be advisable before regular use. The three-speed handlebar gearchange operates correctly.
WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
Lambretta 10” white cast wheels including the spare have good tyres with plenty of tread. Drum brakes front and rear operated by hand lever and foot brake respectively operate as they should.
HISTORY FILE
Marketed in the UK as the ‘Pacemaker’ by Lambretta Concessionaires, the heritage certificate issued by Lambretta Club Great Britain in February 2006 confirms this example is a LI150 Special manufactured in Italy in 1966. Frame and engine numbers are confirmed also. In 2006 the scooter was imported to the UK where is has had four keepers, the last since 2012. The bike is fully UK registered and exempt from MOT and tax requirements. The scooter is also HPI clear.
