This is a beautiful Austin Healey 3000 Mark II from 1962.
It was introduced in 1961 when it came with three carburetors and an improved camshaft, designated the BT7 Mark II , the four seat version.(2+2)
This charming driver presents itself in very good state and condition and in a lovely color combination. Interieur is equipped in blue leather and nice blue carpets.
The car is optical and also technical in very good state and condition.
The car has had its first delivery in California in June 1962, later changed hands to second owner in Kentucky (1993 until 2001) when it was finally delivered from the USA to the Netherlands in 2001. Always in long-term ownership! Since 2001 in current Dutch ownership and Dutch registered.
Dutch owner had it restored between 2001 and 2008 with complete files and pictures of its restoration, very well documented. Car has underwent a complete restoration including engine revision.
This powerful 6-cylinder is equipped with overdrive and is really much fun to drive with.
An ideal car for the upcoming rallye and classic car season.
