The bike starts easily, runs well and has recently passed the MOT with zero advisories.
This particular example is an early European '1GE' model manufactured in early 1985. Being a European market example it is more or less identical to a UK model apart from the KM/ H speedo and few other minor differences. This bike has matching low frame and engine numbers making it a collectable example and a sound investment.
Mechanically speaking the bike is in good working order, it starts first kick and runs well on all four cylinders, and all electrical equipment and instruments are in good working order. Before the MOT the bike was serviced with a new battery, transmission oil, engine oil, coolant and spark plugs. It has covered just over 20, 000 miles from new.
As you can see from the photographs the bike is in good original condition and largely untouched. it’s certainly one of the best and most original examples to hit the market recent times. All of the hard to find covers and heat shields are present. The tank, fairings and paint are all original, but as you would expect there is the odd minor age related marks, these small defects do not detract from the fact that this is a very presentable, honest example of this rare and sought after model.
