BMW 3 SERIES (E9X) 330I SE 2008
Much loved BMW 330i Coupe for sale. This is the later, 272bhp N53B30 powered version, with the 6 speed manual gearbox. 12 months MOT.
The car has covered 147, 000 miles with comprehensive service history. I bought the car in March of this year as a bit of Summer fun and to combat the COVID blues attributed to 2 cancelled holidays.
I have spent quite a bit of money rectifying some of the common faults since buying my 330. I bought the car from an independent garage who had replaced the clutch and carried out an oil service. Since then, it has had 6 genuine index 11 injectors fitted (£1600) and coded by a BMW specialist in Marsden along with new spark plugs and coil packs (£200) in order to rectify a cold start issue which I can happily say has been fixed.
The car has also had a new, genuine rocker cover and gasket (£400) due to a faulty PCV, a common fault on these 6 cylinder BMW's.
Finally, a perished ventilation hose from the expansion tank to the radiator, and a weeping thermostat and housing were both replaced and coolant flushed.
Receipts for work and history book can be seen with the car.
The car sits on the original 17" alloys, wrapped in near new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. These were fitted by ATS after replacement shock absorbers were fitted and the car was 4 wheel aligned.
Bodywork is good and certainly above average for the mileage. There is a scrape in the bumper on the passenger side, and there has been a small patch painted on the boot lid above the BMW badge, these are visible in the pictures but more can be sent if required. The wheels are all straight with no buckles and look presentable, but the usual corrosion and flaking paint means they would benefit from a refurb.
The car is fitted with auto wipers, auto xenon headlights and heated seats. Interior condition is very good, everything works as it should including the arms to pass the front seatbelts (fancy!).
The car drives straight and stops well, offering the best of both worlds in terms of performance and comfort. The sound from the 6 cylinder is fantastic and the car pulls strongly. Even more surprisingly is the economy, easily achieving 35mpg on my commute into Leeds.
I will be sad to see this go, I had my heart set on keeping this however new house has shifted priorities and the missus wants a new kitchen.
