Rare Manual N54 LCI 335i Touring – Standard Car
A genuinely rare example: LCI E91 335i Touring with the N54 engine and a manual gearbox. Even harder to find with the factory electrically retractable tow bar.
For those who know these cars: manual LCI N54 Touring examples are extremely hard to find, and rarer still in completely standard, unmodified form.
I’ve owned the car since 2016 (purchased at 79k miles, 2 former keepers) and it has been my daily driver for the past 8 years. It has always been maintained proactively rather than reactively, with over £5, 000 spent in the last 3 years keeping the car mechanically strong.
Mileage: 161, 000
The car is completely standard – no remap or modifications, something increasingly uncommon with N54 cars.
It has been run almost exclusively on Shell V-Power or equivalent 99RON fuel, with 97RON minimum, and always properly warmed up before driving to help minimise carbon build-up.
A full service has just been completed including new spark plugs, and the car has also had recent suspension work.
Front brake pads due in 13000 miles.
Rear brake pads due in 21000 miles.
Brake fluid service due Feb 2028.
Next service (oil change) due Feb 2028 or 19000 miles.
Full service due Feb 2030 or 37000 miles.
The car pulls strongly and drives exactly as it should.

Condition
A well-used daily rather than a show car, so there are a few age-related imperfections:
Sunroof operates but occasionally throws a dashboard warning
Rear boot glass hatch can be temperamental
Wheels would benefit from refurbishment

This is not a low-mile garage queen, but a properly maintained, enthusiast-owned example that has been used and cared for correctly.
Manual N54 Touring cars are becoming increasingly hard to find, particularly standard cars with strong maintenance history.
I’d happily continue driving it daily, but I’ve recently purchased another vehicle and simply don’t have space for both. Believed to be one of around 17 manual LCI N54 335i Touring cars produced. Combined with long-term enthusiast ownership, extensive service history and completely standard specification, this represents a rare opportunity to own a properly maintained example of an increasingly sought-after BMW.
