VEHICLE SPECIFICS
EXTERIOR BODY
The Golf is finished in the factory colour and the condition of the paint work is superb all around the car. There are no rust issues or damage to any panel. This model features the 'big bumpers' with red stripe detailing and the black VW badge set into the twin headlight grille.
WHEELS & TYRES
The standard BBS RA alloy wheels finish off the retro look if the GTI and all have good tyres. These wheels would have been an additional option when the vehicle was purchased new and complete 'hot-hatch' appearance.
INTERIOR COMPONENTS
The Interior factory cloth seats have no rips or tears. There is a mechanically operated sun roof and the car is in completely original and standard condition inside. Other interior components include front and rear electric windows, PAS and central locking.
MECHANICS
The 8v GTI engine is responsive whilst being reliable and has stood the test of time, still running as well today as it would have in the 90's. The vehicle has undergone our full in-house mechanical and safety inspection and will be sold with a 12 month MOT and having had a full service.
SERVICE HISTORY
The Golf GTI has been owned by UKD previously and we were delighted to purchase the vehicle back from the last owner after he enjoyed the car for 5 years. There is documentation from the work he carried out to the vehicle during his ownership, as well as a record of service items we have replaced in-house at UKD.
DRIVE & COMFORT
This Golf is a beautiful example of the GTI Mk2 and feels superb to drive. The handling is great and suspension feels comfortable on the road with all components working brilliantly. Economical and responsive, this is a great example of 90's German engineering and would be a pleasure for any enthusiast to own!
