This superb Mini City E genuinely has had only one lady owner from new. Garaged all its life, it has a mere 22, 000 miles on the clock, and has obviously only been rarely used in its 30-plus years of life.
This car is actually unrestored so its paintowrk is all original, and as the pictures show, the rubbers, the chromework and all the rest of the trim are in pristine condition. It's just like a nearly-new vehicle, in fact just how clean it is is well-nigh farcical - you'd have to go a long wasy to find a car this clean on the roads today, short of something valeted half an hour ago! On the outside, that much-loved iconic mini shape appeals across the generations, but being a late one the stereo is good, the panels all fit perfectly, the mechanics are sound, there's honestly no end to the plus points with this car.
The engine is the tranversely-mounted straight four 1000cc version, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. Not surprisingly for a car which has only covered 22, 000 miles, they perform impeccably. There isn't even the faintest hint of a creak, sueak or knock whilst driving, which means whoever buys it will be free to enjoy the raucous cornering and nippy acceleration that make driving one of the original a totally unique and absolutely thrilling driving experience.
