It was one of the most anticipated sportscars of the decade after the huge success of the 360, the F430 was faster, louder, smoother and required far less maintenance thanks to the all-new chain driven 4. 3 naturally aspirated V-8 which produced 483 horsepower and whilst idling sounded like a Bengal tiger getting its tummy scratched.
Traditionally for the mid-engine V8 line, Ferrari offered the F430 in both Coupe and Spider form.
For the motoring purists, fear not of the F430 Spider. Like its predecessor, Ferrari designed the F430’s skeleton for both tintop and droptop duty where just 10 kilograms were allocated to the Spider’s chassis reinforcement and if you want to hear your hand-built Italian V-8 engine in full effect, just push the button to retract the roof and find your nearest tunnel.
