1979 Honda CR250 R "Red Rocket" Motocross Bike , The era of the great "Graham Noyce" 500 cc World Champion upon a Honda , Restored to a very high standard whilst keeping to an original specification. Rebuild completed in 2016 but not raced since and kept as a show bike. Many of these bikes have now been modified for EVO class competition and surely not too many remain as original as this one and in such good condition, The Engine and gearbox have been rebuilt by renowned Honda Red Rocket specialist Phil Denton Engineering. Receipts for £1378 are supplied which includes Wiseco piston kit, Re-plated cylinder, all new engine and gearbox bearings and seals. Barrel vapour blasted to remove red paint which was a common modification works riders used to avoid over-heating . Auxiliary items purchased from Honda motocross specialists Elderfield Off-Road. Receipts for £1069 includes new reed block and petals, all new cables, chain & sprockets, progressive rear shocks & Fresco exhaust and Silencer. Other work without receipts includes Keihin flat slide carburettor. Wheels rebuilt on original DID rims with stainless steel spokes and powder coated hubs and brake plates. New tank & plastics. Renthal bars & Magura levers. Frame & Swinging Arm powder coated. Seat foam and new cover
