For sale is my 1983 BMW R65 - it started out as an LS model, however it has been customised to give it the popular scrambler look (though I have retained all of the original parts so that it can be easily transformed back to how it was, complete with BMW panniers). The rear frame is a professionally made Side Rock Cycles item with one of their seat base which has been trimmed well in red. indicators are LED items and an appropriate flasher unit has been fitted. The carbs were rebuilt in 2020, the engine oil and filter changed, cylinder head torqued and valves checked and adjusted, new Heidenhau tyres fitted at both ends. It is a pleasure to work on. I did a 1200 mile tour on it in 2019 and it did not miss a beat. It will be MOT and tax exempt in a couple of years time, so what with inexpensive classic bike insurance it will be very cheap and reliable bike to run. I am looking for £3250 or close offer.
