Sunbeam model 6 in very nice order , has not been hacked about , has still got its correct valanced front
mudguard , the Sunbeam leg shields , and running boards , also the one thing most Sunbeams have lost
is the fully enclosed chain case this motorcycle is as delivered to its first owner in 1928 , also has the
alloy valve spring covers you would be hard pressed to find a more correct bike .
The one other thing this motorcycle has that through me for some time is that it has racing cams so when
you line up the marks the bike will not run properly , then I found a old published article that said if you are
Fortunate enough to have a model 6 1928 with racing cams set it up to all the marks then advance the
inlet cam by two teeth this I did and then gave the bike a prod it fired up and sounded like a
Norton over head cam needless to say it changed the bike completely.
The bicycle shop photo is the first owner .
The engine and frame numbers are correct the reg is the original one as supplied in 1928.
One of the previous owners did the end to end run on it and it also comes with much paperwork .
And the one other thing it has is the complete lighting set all I good working order which is great if you are coming home late after a vintage motorcycle run .
