A very rare and very unique opportunity.
1970 Nissan Skyline Hakosuka with an Nissan RB26 twin turbo engine from the later 1995 R33 GTR. A perfect combination of a classic iconic Nissan sports mated to a powerful reliable fuel injected race bred engine that was the fitted to the R32, R33 and R34 GTR's.
This is an ex Japanese HKS built car which they restored and painted in R33 GTR midnight purple. Originally it had an L30 12V 6 cylinder HKS race engine. This was removed by a previous company in Japan and a standard L20 engine fitted. I purchased it approx 3 years ago and imported it. During this time I have brought the car up to an incredible standard winning every show it attended in 2019.
RB26 twin turbo conversion, the engine is fully rebuilt including a new crank and N1 oil pump, valve guides shells rings. Infact it is still running in. It is mated to an RB25 gearbox and will produce the factory 280BHP though is capable of more thanks to Nismo steel turbo's.
All of the factory gauges work with the engine, it is impossible to tell the conversion has been carried out unless the bonnet is open. It drives as it should, refined power delivery, comfortable and reasonable on fuel.
The interior is original and immaculate, the sills and original with original spot welds, as are the rear qtr pockets. Front wings, front panel and bonnet are again original.
This was a bare metal restoration top and bottom in Japan, the paint is still like glass and is still pretty much perfect.
I believe only 4 RB26 Hakosuka's exist world wide. This conversion has been done in such a way that the original engine and running gear can be installed back in if required in the future.
