Descrição
A rare chance to possess one of the most collectible Minis ever. These Mini Racing Flames were released in limited edition to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the Mini, and now of course they are themeselves more than 30 years old. As can be seen in the photographs, this one has been very well cared for, and comes with full service history as proof.
The car has to date only covered 33, 000 miles, and is a former show-winner, with the prize-winning plaque included, and everything detailed in a considerable history file.
The exterior shows the car has clearly been garaged for most if not all of its life, with excellent bodywork all round, and details such as the outstanding chromework, pristine sill trims and rubber seals are all testimony to the fabulous condition of the car. The car's unmarked alloy wheels add to its sporty character.
The underside is also in cracking condition and plenty of sharp uncorroded edges, while the engine bay is reassuringly clean and tidy, with the various stickers and plaques almost like new.
Moving onto the interior, everything is in similarly excellent order. The door cards are immaculate, and the special edition 'Black Crayon' seats are beautiful - there is no wear to them. The car still bears its original Philips radio cassette player, and other features include upholstered front seat head rests, always popular with our customers, front and rear seatbelts, heated rear windscreen and the original soft-feel steering wheel. In fact, the car has a lot of nice touches which people take for granted nowadays, right down to water temperature and oil pressure gauges and the locking fuel filler cap.

The engine runs very smooth and clean, as you would expect from a car with so few miles on it - and that 998cc engine delivers 42mpg around town, and is capable of 80mph-plus, so keeps up with modern traffic without missing a beat. The 4-speed gearbox gives smooth, responsive changes, and overall the car drives magnificently. Anyone who has ever driven a Mini knows how much fun they are to drive, and by this era telescopic dampers, rack-and-pinion steering, and power-assisted brakes all meant that these Minis were as much of a thrill in corners as the car ever was.
Quite simply, this Mini Racing Flame is a marvellously-preserved example of a car which always has been a classic and very likely always will be.
At this difficult time, rest assured that delivery of the car can be arranged.
