Introduction
Here at OCC we have an excellent 2006 Honda Civic Type R EP3 Premier Edition 6 Speed manual. This is one of the very last ‘Premier Edition’ cars, the special edition to have, only available at the very end of production of the EP3 in 2006. This car is in excellent, rust free condition throughout and is a very hard to find, original, unmolested example. Its covered 116k miles, with full service history. This really does drive very well indeed, no rattles, engine / gearbox / clutch / suspension / brakes all feel great and perform as they should. Underneath is all just as good and has been protected with clear waxoil to maintain this superb condition throughout.
A great car to have a blast on your favourite B road and becoming very collectible now.
Specification
This car comes with a lovely specification. It features Electric windows, Electric mirrors, Remote central locking / alarm, Air conditioning. With the Premier edition, you get the Red and Black Recaro seats, which are superb, Red carpets with Type R overmats, Momo steering wheel, matching door cards, Type R lettering etc.
Bodywork / Interior / Wheels etc
The bodywork and paintwork on this car are finished in Cosmic Grey metallic. The paintwork as you can hopefully see from the multiple pictures and videos on our website is excellent, a deep all over shine, no rust.
Inside the condition continues. Excellent and original throughout. Look at those seats / door cards / carpets, all in superb condition.
The wheels on this car are all in excellent shape, free from curbing etc, all fitted with an excellent set of matching tyres.
Engine / Gearbox
The 2. 0 Vtec engine runs and performs perfectly. It feels like its got all its 200 BHP. From hot or cold, the engine sounds and performs as it should, fantastic to rev, keep the revs up and push on, great fun.
The 6 speed manual gearbox and the light clutch are a delight to use. Regular gearbox oil changes have kept this box perfectly fresh and tight, recent clutch change means each gear change is slick and precise.
History
This Type R comes with a full service history. We have all the original manuals, a fully stamped original service book, old service receipts and MOT’s, both keys etc.
Summary
HPI clear.
Mot’d until 22 December 2021 , no advisories.
A great fun car that will hold its money now. A rare original example to enjoy as the factory intended.
