Well finished in the very attractive shade of Chartreuse Yellow (so, manufactured 1976), this example is in fine condition having had extensive renovation work carried out over the last few years. This included a complete, full, bare metal re-spray and new doors and bonnet – we have photographs of this work. The structure of the car seems to be very good indeed, including sills, wings, castle sections and jacking points – the general condition of the underside of the car is good. Over the last 12 months, further improvements have been carried out, including a full new set of tyres, brake overhaul and the fitting of an unleaded cylinder head. New cooling system hoses were fitted, with new clips resulting in the under-bonnet area looking very smart. A full service was carried out at the end of last year, we have just tuned the carburettors up, and the car is running very well. The interior was refurbished at the time of restoration, and the car now has leather fronted MGA Owners’ Club sports seats – and very nice they are too!! The mileage shows approximately 52, 500, which we think is genuine. The car starts and runs well with nice smooth gearbox and overdrive – it has electronic ignition - ready for immediate use. The history file includes its original Passport to Service and warranty, owner’s handbook and invoices for work done. Comes with MOT to March 2022 and V5C.
