1976 VW Thing (181, Trekker). LHD. Registered in the UK in 1980 and I bought it from there in 2008 in good condition with approx 79, 000 miles on it. Taken to Madrid and over euro 8, 000 invested in a bottom-up restoration, including new panels where necessary and new paint (photos and invoices available), new convertible top, tyres, etc. Car has barely been driven since due to my travels overseas (approx 1, 000 miles). Now selling to release space and because the car deserves a home that can care for and enjoy her. Engine runs beautifully, the new paint from 2009 is now a little damaged in a few places - if you are genuinely interested let me know and I can send you detailed photos. It has valid UK registration papers and is tax-exempt there, it hasn't been to the UK since 2008 - I was going to register it in Spain as a historic vehicle but I never did. I have now sent it to a classic VW garage in Lisbon, so its a well travelled car!
