Hi Ive got a one off four door soft top.. it has two covers one flat cover and a soft top roof... its a XJ40 4. 0ltr straight six rebuilt and modified in 2008... This car was completely refurbished, then modified and is mechanically sound... A fresh MOT was issued with this car three days ago. Remember this is a ONE OFF .... there is not another 4 door soft top xj40 anywhere in the world .. The property of British American Tobacco head office in London and as such it has a history it was then traded it for a newer Jaguar,..... Difficult to value as its a one off build, approved by DVLA and tested accordingly...
1st owner (BAT) British American Tobacco, and as such its always been to Jaguar Stratstones when they were in Brixton Hill London..

2nd owner.... UNKNOWN private plate issued J3 CDK 1995-2008 in this time during 11-01-2008 -16-12-2008 the car was modified where apon the private plate was replaced with a Q plate.(after talking to DVLA it seems back then that not enough information was given or lack of procedure was in play so a Q plate for ease was issued and not contested by owner.. however it now appears that an re consideration would be given to the issue of the Q plate in favour or a date related, if all documents / papers were given to DVLA and a 10 week period was granted for consideration time by DVLA TO PROCESS

the car was traded in by owner to Jaguar (possible trade in) whereupon it went into their storage base in (JLR Bicester) for a few years as the property of Jaguar Landrover heritage vehicles..
