Description

1976 MG MGB roadster Flamenco Red

Ordered new in Flamenco Red with black interior trim, this MGB still mostly shows its factory original paint 45 years later. A solid project car from southern California, this MG is an excellent restoration candidate.

The body shows no signs of previous repair work and is generally very solid. The only rust damage is to be found at the bottom of the left and right rear fender dog legs and in the passenger floor panel. Except for a few small dents, the car is damage free.

Under the bonnet, disassembly work was started. Probably with the intention to get the clutch out. Although the engine turns by hand, the water pump is stuck. The car has a standard 4 speed gearbox. It is missing an inlet manifold and carburettor.

The interior needs to be completely renovated. The car is missing some trim parts, as well as all of the gauges with the exception of the speedometer. Current mileage sits at 38. 154. According to the California title, it was last registered in 1992.

An excellent candidate for restoration, this sunburnt MGB deserves attention from a practically minded new owner.

Price: € 2. 900

The MGB has a US title (California) and EU customs document (duties paid).
