Description
1964 Austin Healey 3000 Mk 3 BJ8
VIN H-BJ8-L/ 26940
Engine 29K-RU-H/ 1672
A superbly finished and detailed Healey that’s been subject of a recent, virtual nut and bolt full body off restoration by Healey enthusiast and professionals including a 100% rebuild between 2016 to 2020 by specialists Dan Howell classics, including bare metal body and chassis repaint bringing it to it's full glory that it is today.
Sent to Detroit USA, 22 May 1964 the car spent the first part of it’s life in California before retuning back to the UK in the 80’s where it was professionally converted to RHD by marque specialists Murray Scott-Nelson.
With a huge amount of recent restoration and expense the car is ready to be enjoyed by it’s next owner. A superb example in every way with a huge folder of receipts, complete detailed schedule of works. Additional full restoration photo file and documented history information on the car adds to the whole provenance of it's historical reference.
Superbly painted in Healey ice blue over Ivory white the car is in pristine “like new” condition and has unfortunately hardly been used since completing it’s nut and bolt restoration.
Current mileage is showing 1, 478 since completion.
Inspected, fresh MOT and ready to be enjoyed by it’s next owner.
