Lovely black 1976 Suzuki GT380 2 stroke Triple. Original UK bike and this machine is I feel in totally original condition, very very smart but by no means a trailer queen. Personally I like them this way, somebody loved it in 1976..... their new shiny machine. It is not a mix of new paint, powder coating and pattern parts!

Mechanically it seems spot on, it rides really nicely and sounds really crisp. The mileage is probably genuine but can't be proved. Only 4 previous keepers too.
Cosmetically it has its original seat, cover and trims in super condition which is rare. Correct exhausts in good order to without road rash or dents plus original wheel rims. The spokes are also original though not perfect are decent.
The paintwork on the whole is lovely though there is one small touched in area on the top right of the tank a bit smaller than a 10p coin, it could be done better or indeed carefully prepared and blended in to the stripes by spray gun for a sympathetic improvement leaving the tank original. That said it is small and does not detract very much.
The chromework also is bright and very pretty..... thin in places, a little rust speckling here and there but like the rest of the bike original and all the better for it I feel.
In summary it is a great bike, with all that lovely feel of patina and history about it I personally would preserve. It is far too good to spoil by over restoring but it represents very good value as compared to typical not running USA imports needing lots of work. By the time cost and effort is factored in to these machines they can be very costly and are foreign import specification.
Revival motors is a very part time business which deals in classic cars and motorcycles…………. turning a hobby into a part time vocation I actually enjoy. I am always happy to discuss my vehicles which often I have used and will always point out any known faults, issues or areas that could be improved. This GT380 keeps looking at me to be a keeper...... I may just do that if it does not leave me swiftly! I would struggle to find another so original and tidy.
