BMW reinvented the 4x4 with the X5. In fact they coined their own “Sports Activity Vehicle” moniker to distinguish it from its competitors. It drove and performed like a sports saloon but had the extra ride height to make it both practical and fashionable. This 4. 8is model was the fastest and most expensive X5. It could sprint to 60 mph in 6 seconds and waft 5 adults and a couple of Labradors up to 150mph. With its 'M Car' inspired gauges, 380 BHP, flared arches and twin chrome rectangular exhaust tips this car has all the muscle you could need and yet next to todays showy offerings is has aged into a handsome modern classic.

There are two keys with the car along with the original grey key and dealer key rings. All books and manuals are included also. There is a full and comprehensive service history with entries in the book at 15k, 29k, 41k, 52k, 64k, 70k, 76k, 81k and 84k. The large file of invoices show that front and rear discs and pads were replaced 6, 000 miles ago and a new battery fitted in late 2020.
