This is my 1966 BSA A65 spitfire MK II. As you can see from the pictures the bike is in excellent condition. It appears to have undergone an extensive restoration in 2011 as I have many invoices from that period including engine rebuild , gas flowing of the cylinder head and powder coating of the frame. I had the bodywork resprayed a couple of years ago as I obtained a brand new fibreglass fuel tank for it. It is fitted with a pair of nice alloy rims with good tyres. I fitted Pazon electonic ignition so it now starts easily usually after 2 or 3 kicks even when its been left for a while. It runs well with no nasty noises or smoke and sounds great. The clutch is light in operation and the gears select easily. Brakes are surprisingly good for a bike of this era. The only bad point is that there is a area on the headlamp shell where the chrome has peeled off which I have shown in the pictures, other than that its in really nice condition. It is registered as a historic vehicle and is therefore tax and MOT exempt. Please contact me if you have any questions.
