This is a really lovely fully restored and rebuilt example of Suzuki's beautiful GT550J. It is an original UK bike first registered here in November 1972. The quality of the restoration is excellent and the chrome shines deeply. The bike has had its engine fully rebuilt by "Blue smoke Baz" including re-bore, new pistons, refurbished generator, crank refurbished by Chris Appleby, new crank seals and bearings, carbs vapour cleaned with all new carb kits, engine casings polished.
The bike starts and runs beautifully, the engine is crisp and tight with great torque and a unique two stroke sound from the new higgspeed expansion pipes. A bike to be both proud of and one to also enjoy riding.
