Description
Overview
• Modern classic two-seat compact sports car.
• Only 31, 500 miles.
• Two previous owners, the most recent of whom had the car for over 23 years and stored it in her garage.
• 22 stamps in the service book.
Fabulous two-seat sports car that is now a rare sight on UK roads with fewer than 180 currently licensed for road use.
Originally sold in 1997 to a UK army squadron leader based in Germany, the car was repatriated to the UK and sold to its second owner on 2 March 1998 who has had the car ever since but has now reluctantly given up driving.
Despite its very low mileage, the car has 22 service stamps in its service book and has no rust or corrosion on the body work, likely due to it being garage-kept by the second owner.
The 1. 6 litre 16valve, SOHC VTEC engine starts easily and pulls strongly.
The five speed manual gearbox is silky smooth and the electric roof, which is an engineering marvel, works perfectly. Four new tyres.
Every single MOT since 2001 is present in the history file. The current MOT is valid until 16 January 2023.
The car’s black paint is good with some age-related marks.
Two keys plus the frequently missing Honda red master key.
An increasingly rare modern classic that is somewhat quirky, but fun to drive and easy to live with.
