Here at Old Colonel Cars we have a lovely example of the BMW E34 5 Series. This example is a 520 SE Manual, featuring the superb classic straight six engine mated to a manual gearbox. This classic BMW has covered only 65, 000 miles. Its a low owner car and benefits from an excellent service history. These E34’s are rock solid and generally cover high mileages, so its rare to find a low mileage car, especially in manual form. This car is a very solid example, its all looks original underneath, original rust free jacking points and sills etc.
These E34’s are a delight to drive, very smooth with a real feeling of quality.

Bodywork / Interior / Wheels etc
Finished in Granite Silver Metallic, the bodywork on this E34 is in lovely condition. As you can hopefully see from the many pictures and video, this is a very good looking car, none of the normal rust on arches, bottom of doors. E34’s are rare to find in this condition.
If you are familiar with this model, you will notice it features slightly later BMW alloys. The car does come with its original alloys, but these are metric so makes tyre choice difficult, so to fit later alloys is the common work around for this and the quality tyres and alloys fitted are in excellent condition.
This E34 features a light Grey cloth interior. Again look at the many pictures and video, this interior is in excellent condition. Look at the seats, none of the normal wear. Same for the dash and door cards, all in excellent condition.
Engine / Gearbox
The 2. 0i straight six engine fires up straight away, without any fuss. Its super smooth and performs with a lovely straight six engine note.
The 5 speed manual gearbox works lovely, nice and precise gear changes with a light clutch.
History
This example benefits from a full service history. With no less than 24 service stamps, this car has certainly been looked after correctly. We have all the original manuals, a fully stamped original service book, a folder of old MOT’s, service receipts etc.

If you are looking for a usable classic, these E34’s represent great value, but now is the time to buy as they are appreciating now.
This example was last serviced at 59, 963 miles, it had new shocks and springs all round along with new radiator etc.
