When launched this car was described by the motoring press as very quick, very loud and very rare. Powered by a 5 litre supercharged V8 engine with 542bhp this car is the ultimate incarnation of the Jaguar XK. As well as the obvious changes to the standard XKR-S such as the lightweight bucket seats, roll cage and rear spoiler, there are myriad changes under the skin to improve the driving experience. A new rear axle, suspension geometry changes, quicker steering rack, wider track and the carbon ceramic brakes all contribute to a car that was timed around the Nürburgring at 7m 40secs. Just ten cars were sold in the UK making this one of the rarest Jaguars produced.
This example has been part of JLR’s own collection and has covered a mere 410 miles. It is one of just two RHD cars finished in Italian Racing Red. The car will be fully serviced by Jaguar Classic and come with 12 months warranty ready for its lucky new owner to enjoy.
