For sale my VW Bora Sort 1. 8T these are fast becoming a classic there are only about a 100 left on the DVLA register, don't confuse this with the diesel (taxi) model.
The 1. 8T is fitted with the 20 valve turbo engine as fitted to the Audi TT, it is 4 cylinder so has 5 valves per cylinder, power 147 BHP.
I bought it with a smoking turbo and as well as a new turbo I fitted new timing belt including water pump also changed the inlet cam timing chain and tensioner, it has had a new oil pickup pipe fitted in the sump.
The discs and pads have all been changed and 2 new front springs fitted.
The car is tested until July 2022.
There is some service history and lots of invoices.
It is a clean tidy car in standard condition, so many have had loads of modifications or totally neglected. The paint and bodywork are good for its age the interior is clean with no rips or tears.
I'm selling as I haven't been using it much since Lock down and I have another project on the go
