The latest John Seber Racer for sale
All fully rebuilt, engine has high compression pistons, bigger valves, new Cam, twin SU carbs resulting in a very powerful 6 cylinder car.
The gearbox is a "freewheel" type only made in this year, and dropped only due to the high cost of these gearboxes. The benefit of these gearboxes is the ease of changing gears, no need to double de-clutch. Make driving a Prewar car much easier.
Original lights on the Wolseley "W" light bracket, also has side lights, indicators and Nice vintage instruments, large fuel tank, new 18" wheels fitted with Blockley tyres, large original finned drums.
The bodywork from Brooklands Bodycraft finished in Dark Blue, wheels in a nice contrasting dark red and black seats.
Twin (original type) Brooklands Screens, rear and side mirror.
The car took part in the recent Prescott hill climb, which was first driven from Oxfordshire to Prescott, before taking part in two runs up the hill and then driven back! Somewhere in the region of 140miles round trip, Not bad for a prewar car!
