Description
This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show 2026 on Saturday the 21st of March - Sunday the 22nd of March, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT.
First registered in 1966 and finished in attractive Blue and White, this Wolseley 16/ 60 is a fine example of the BMC Farina range that included the Morris Oxford and Austin Cambridge
In our vendor’s ownership for around five years and carefully preserved during that time with only minimal recent use
Powered by the 1, 622cc B-Series engine paired with a 4-speed manual gearbox, offering the smooth and relaxed driving characteristics typical of these traditional British saloons
Previously restored and maintained with mechanical improvements over the years including gearbox reconditioning, clutch replacement and attention to braking and suspension components
Last MOT tested in 2022 despite exemption and appearing ready for straightforward recommissioning prior to a return to regular road use, a smart and increasingly uncommon example of the Wolseley marque
