Introduction
Here we have an excellent example of one of the rarest, most sort after 993’s, the Porsche 911 993 Carrera 2 ‘S’.
These last of the 993’s, came from the factory fitted with the wider Turbo body, lowered stance, faster Tiptronic ‘S’ gear change software and the more powerful 285 BHP ‘Varioram’ engine. Retaining the finesse of 2 wheel drive, making these cars a superb driving classic. The 993 is the last of the air cooled 911’s, this is one of the last 993’s.
Take a look at this late 1996 example, its looks amazing, and drives and performs as good as it looks. Take it on your favourite B road, this 993 feels really tight and responsive. Finished in a very rare colour, Zenith Blue, this car really stands out and makes the most of this glorious shape.
Its covered 133, 000 miles, backed up by an excellent, fully documented service history. Owned by a very good client of mine, with an excellent car collection, this 993 must be seen, this car is ready to stand out at any show.

Bodywork / Interior / Wheels etc
The bodywork and paintwork on this car are excellent. The Zenith Blue metallic paintwork has a deep all over shine. This stunning example features the full Turbo bodywork, giving it the ultimate look.
The Classic Grey, leather interior is again in excellent condition. Look at the seats, very little signs of age, a very well presented 911.
The Turbo style, 18 inch alloys are all in lovely condition, recently refurbished and subject to full alignment check.
Engine / Gearbox
This 993 features the preferred 285 bhp Varioram engine. This being the last and most refined of the air cooled 911’s, it hard to beat the noise and response from this engine.
This model features the Tiptronic ‘S’ gearbox, which is automatic with steering wheel shift buttons, revised software for this later ‘S’ model gave it much quicker gear changes. It really does suit this car, allowing you to keep both hands on the steering wheel, enjoying the performance and feeling the fantastic handling of this car.
History
This 993 comes with full service history. We have the original Porsche book pack, all manuals, a fully stamped service book, a folder of service receipts and all old MOT’s, VOSA mot history and a full clear HPI certificate with mileage verification.
